OH My Gosh! I came home today and walked through the garden and had the Best, most Proud and hopeful feelings... the garden looks So great! The lettuce plants are really starting to look like lettuce! The tomatoes have flowers on them! The watermelon seeds have sprouted, there are bold, vivacious seedlings on the squash hill and in the row of cucumbers, and we're now proud hosts to some very leggy sunflowers. The sugar snap peas have their first flowers and have grown over a FOOT in the past week, the strawberries have established Whole new plants from their runners (just in Seven days! I took off all the runners last week...), and the marigold seeds are sprouting.
