I worked in the garden awhile today, and found and saw some incredible things. The sky was a vivid azure blue, the clouds plump and rolling along the horizon, billowing silver-white. There were tiny volunteer plants growing where we were making beds for the cucurbits (squash, cukes, etc), and they had FUSCHIA undersides to their leaves... THE MOST Deep Pink I had ever seen.
I also found a bone in the field... it's pretty big, definitely not a chicken bone, though I'm not sure what it Is from.
And I found a seed head from... some rye maybe? It looks like sketch fodder for someone creating a super villain's armor, it was so spiked and sharp-angled.
What else? Oh, new kitten pictures from yesterday - but those can go in another post.
