{Chapatis}

I found this recipe in a book about 'food for the pack' - it had a lot of Great, practical food for camping and traveling to make sure you get all the nutrition you need, and had a lot of info about wild plants as well... I don't see it around, though, so I'll check back later for exact details and to give you the full title.

Chapatis are a type of puffed flat bread that are yummy with any type of food you want to scoop up and eat :D It's not quite like pita pockets, though. Try 'em out!

Chapatis

1c whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3c water (?)

Mix ingredients well until you've got a pretty elastic dough. Pull dough into 1" balls (for pieces about 5-6" in diameter) and roll flat with a rolling pin using as Little flour as possible. Heat on a dry, hot skillet until puffy, flipping while it heats.

Enjoy!
