My mom's getting married tomorrow. I feel so happy, and so rich - never in my life did I expect such an inheritance. I'm gaining siblings, an incredible stepfather, and great new grandparents that I respect and look up to as people. My mother is infinitely happy, and my stepfather is fully in love. To know that someone else loves my mother as deeply as I do, that someone else appreciates her as much - is So incredible to me.
My mom has deserved this emotional rest, this happiness and comfort for so long... I feel like I'm sending my Own child out into the world, into this happy future. I know I won't have to worry about her anymore. She's in good hands that will love and respect and cherish her to the ends of the earth.
