Amber has been making these for us to enjoy during breaks from phragmite huntin' - they are Delicious!
Start with a few good heaping spoonfuls of real peanut butter (JIF, Skippy, and Pan need not apply).
Add a big spoonful or two of honey, or maple syrup, or molasses. Coat thoroughly in carob powder.
Mix in a good bit of rolled oats, then chop up raisins and seeds (sunflower, sesame, pumpkin, whatever ya got) and nuts (we used walnuts) and toss 'em in.
Mix it up real good, roll 'em into bite-sized balls, and share with others for a ZOOM of energy that's Delicious and Nutritious.
